Wheels on Werner Allen – Car Show

Get ready to rev things up at Wheels on Werner Allen, the official kickoff to Fall Fest in New London. This laid-back community car show invites classic car enthusiasts and curious visitors alike to gather along Werner Allen for an evening filled with chrome, engines, and great company.

Hosted by the New London Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the New London Lions Club and the Wolf River Classic Chevy Club, the event welcomes all makes and models of collector cars, trucks, and motorcycles. With free admission for both participants and spectators, Wheels on Werner Allen sets the stage for a fun, community-focused start to Fall Fest weekend.

ADMISSION

FREE! Yes, you read that right. This event is free for vehicles and spectators alike!

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

No registration fee is required to enter a vehicle.
The first 150 vehicles will receive a dash plaque.
The first 25 motorcycles will receive a patch

STAGING

Car staging: 3–4 PM
Car show: 5–8 PM
Vehicles disperse: 8 PM
Please enter through the staging area on West Jennings Street into Hatten Park and follow volunteer directions.
Important: Werner Allen will not be accessible after 4 PM.

GROUNDS RULES

When leaving the event at 8:00 p.m., please move at a safe and respectful pace to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
Strictly NO unlawful displays of power, including flame-throwing, burnouts, or spinning tires. Offenders will be ticketed by the New London Police Dept.
Beer will be available within the event perimeter (Werner Allen and Hatten Park). Alcohol is prohibited on school property—violators will be fined. No carry-ins allowed.
Due to the new location, there will be no cruise. Vehicles will disperse at 8:00 p.m.

FOOD ON THE GROUNDS

A variety of delicious food and beverages will be available, provided by the New London Lions Club. This is their annual fundraiser – so come hungry!
Food and beverage stand opens at 4:00 p.m. near the Hatten Park entrance

FIRST AID & EMERGENCIES

In the event of a medical emergency, please notify the Chamber booth or Lions Club stand immediately. Police will be available throughout the event.

RESTROOM FACILITIES

Port-a-potties are available throughout Werner Allen and Hatten Park for your convenience.

LIABILITY
The New London Are Chamber of Commerce, Wolf River Classic Chevy Club, the City of New London and any other club or group that supports this event cannot be held responsible for any damage done to any vehicle while participating in this event.
