Although my career has included nursing, education and work as a Mental Health therapist before being introduced to the Mary Kay opportunity in 1992, the core focus of my careers has been working with people.  I am a people person and my Mary Kay career has allowed me to help women look and feel great, and also for them to feel empowered to build their own businesses.  The “sisterhood” of Mary Kay is a great gift!

I joined Mary Kay in August of 1992, never realizing these 21 years later; I would continue to feel the excitement and passion that the woman herself envisioned for others.  This year, 2013, marks the 50^th anniversary of this International Company.  The dream that Mary Kay Ash felt to start this company is the dream that continues alive in my heart to make differences in the lives of others.

The product line has expanded – the Skin Care line increased to include the Botanical line, the Anti-aging Repair line, the new Acne Treatment line and the Men’s skin care line.  The Color Cosmetics are exquisite and trendy; the fragrances and Spa/Body Care line are nourishing for all occasions.

But most importantly, the heart of Mary Kay with the belief of God first, Family second and Career third is what attracts so many to be part of this company.  The Mary Kay Foundation and the focus on Breast CA awareness and Domestic Violence prevention is what excites me to be affiliated with this opportunity.

I am excited to be part of the New London Chamber, spreading the word about the Mary Kay heart!  I am excited to be involved and have our community support my business as we make this world a better place.

My Unit of consultants “Pat’s Positive Believers” has a mission statement, which reads:  “Improve the spiritual, financial and physical health of ourselves and others!  We are setting the example for others to follow!”
