Willow Basketry Workshop

Create your own rustic, rib-style melon basket in this class taught by Faith Schlaeppi, an accomplished basket maker from New London. Locally collected willow will be used to create an attractive and functional basket. Start by splitting and stripping branches. The remainder of the day will be spent weaving and putting on finishing touches.
