2026 Building Façade Improvement Grant Program
$4,000 Maximum Grant Funding
Property owners and businesses in New London are eligible for up to $4,000.00 in matching grant funds for
exterior façade improvements made to their buildings. As a matching grant program, the City will reimburse
the property owner for up to 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $4,000 ($4,000 grant funds
matched by $4,000 private funds). The City reserves the right to exceed the maximum grant amount or
number of grants awarded in a given year on a case‑by‑case basis.
Initial grant applications are due by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026. Initial grant awards will be
announced by the end of April of the program year. After the initial award round, any remaining funds will
be made available to additional applicants on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

Business Loan/Grant Program (BLGP) for the Downtown Businesses and Older Buildings in Waupaca County
Recognizing the importance of preserving and revitalizing its aging infrastructure, the Waupaca County Economic Development Corporation (WCEDC) has introduced a new loan/grant program aimed at supporting the improvement of businesses, and older commercial buildings in the county’s downtowns. This initiative fosters economic growth, community development, and cultural preservation by providing financial aid to businesses located in an older commercial building in Waupaca County downtowns.
