School District of New London – Community Outreach: Sextortion

April 15 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
The School District of New London, in partnership with the New London Police Department, will be presenting two community engagement presentations. The March 16 presentation will cover vaping and warning signs for parents to know. The April 15 presentation will cover online digital risks, with an emphasis on sextortion and online exploitation. Both presentations are open to school district families and the general public.
New London School Resource Officer and Drug Recognition Expert, Chad Ewing, will be leading the March 16 presentation with School District of New London Superintendent, Scott Bleck, sharing the consequences of vaping and drug use from the school view.
New London Police Chief, Josh Wilson, will lead the April 15 presentation and will sharing information on sextortion and child exploitation. Resources from the Internet Crime Against Children Task Force will also be shared with those in attendance.
