The Annual Chamber Awards Banquet is on April 11th. We can’t wait to show you how Events Everlasting plans to transform the venue.
The purpose of the annual Chamber Awards Banquet is to identify, honor and reinforce the activities of exceptional people whose service or performance positively contributes to the quality of life in the area served by the New London Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Nomination guidelines will be as follows; nominees must either own, be employed by or be a member of a business, organization or civic club that is a member of the New London Area Chamber of Commerce in good standing; nominees must have demonstrated excellence in one or more of the individual award criteria listed.
The schedule of events for the evening remains the same; cocktails, dinner, entertainment and awards. Previous year’s award recipient will present to the current year’s recipient (the option of not presenting will be offered).

Events Everlasting / Rasasvada

Nicole will lead a very in depth couples healing meditation, accompanied by Reiki healing. Each couple will get a customized mini Reiki during meditation. This is for any level of healing, from beginner to advanced.
Reiki is a natural Japanese healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation, with no side effects. It is performed by placing hands on the receiver's body and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be living If one's life force energy is too low, then the likelihood to get sick or feel stress is greater. If it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki works for everyone who can keep an open mind and relax into the process.
This is for couples connected romantically, close friends, two close family members, etc. Please be sure it's a partnership of close trust and Botha re willing to touch each other, as this will be a deep bonding experience.
In this connective meditation, you will still have complete control over your mind and body. This is your own experience that we utilize to relax your energy, making it more susceptible to receive Reiki healing without resistance.
We are capping this event at 10 couples, so reserve your spot now! Message Nicole to make a $10 non refundable deposit to hold your reservation.
Cost: $60/couple with $5 off/person with Events Everlasting purchase.

How things will work :
You are free to show up anytime before the show to hang out in the bar. We will open the doors up to the hall at 6:00pm.
It is first come first serve for seating. We filled up pretty quick last time so if you would like a close seat definitely get here early.
Once once people are seated, we will have two cocktail waitresses in the hall doing table service for drinks, and for food . One waitress for each side of the hall.
There is a two drink minimum during the show. Booking this type of event is very expensive but as long as everyone can help us out and abide by eating and drinking while they’re at the show, we can continue to provide cost-effective entertainment for the new London area. Again this time this is a free show and there is no tickets that need to be purchased. It is possible in the future we will sell tickets to recoup costs, but this show is free.
When you need to order food or drink, just stand the flag up at your table and as soon as the Waitress is available, they will come to your table . You are welcome to get up and walk into the bar if you choose as well.
We are planning on 90-120 (maybe more) people showing up so if you are planning to eat, please arrive as early as you can and and if you are eating during a busy time, please be patient because our kitchen can only handle so many food items at one time. Things like fried food and pizzas can be brought out quicker than other items.
We hope to see you all there!

ALL WILL BE MADE ALIVE!
The film director Woody Allen once said, “I’m not afraid to die, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.”
Studies have shown that most people fear death to varying degrees. This fear is so common, that there is even a field of psychological study called thanatology. It examines the human reaction to death and dying. One of the biggest reasons people fear death is the perception of its permanency. In the normal realm of human existence, dead is dead. Someone dies, and all you have are pictures and memories. That is the way people typically think, but it is far from reality. Today, Christ proves to us that death is not final at all!
Easter teaches us that Christ is the first fruits of those who have died. Just as Christ rose, “so in Christ, all will be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:22). That changes everything: the way we grieve the death of a Christian loved one, the way we feel when our health fails, the way we look at the purpose of life right now. Let us rejoice in this resurrection reality: All will be made alive!
Easter breakfast is served in the school commons from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m.
