Friends of the New London Public Museum

Friends of the New London Public Museum Welcomes New Director of Development
New London, WI – Friends of the New London Public Museum (FNLPM) announced the hiring of Llahoma Jackson as Director of Development. This new, part-time role was created to support the New London Public Museum’s upcoming expansion and to strengthen FNLPM’s fundraising and outreach efforts.
Jackson has more than a decade of experience in nonprofit development, most recently serving as Director of Development & Alumni Engagement at the Boys & Girls Brigade in Neenah. Her background includes leading successful fundraising campaigns, managing donor communications, and building strong community partnerships. She has also held development roles with the American Red Cross and Preserve Arkansas, where she worked closely with volunteers, board members, and donors to grow organizational support.
As Director of Development, Jackson will lead fundraising strategy, donor stewardship, and community engagement for the Friends of the New London Public Museum. She will work closely with the FNLPM Board as well as Museum Director Christine Cross and other stakeholders to play a key role in the museum’s future capital campaign and help shape communications that connect supporters to the museum’s mission.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Llahoma to FNLPM. Her passion for community-focused fundraising and nonprofit leadership will be instrumental as we grow support for the museum’s future,” said Terry Wegner, FNLPM President.
FNLPM’s Director of Development position is funded for three years through grants from the Marilynn W. Taylor/Wohlt Cheese Fund and the Community Vision Fund—both held within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region—as well as contributions from FNLPM donors who pledged their support for this vital role.

Last Friday we were lucky enough to work with a great group of people from Walmart and had the honor of hosting an 8-pin fundraiser for the Children's Hospital. The turn out ended up being fantastic the community came to support a great cause and brought their pocket books with them. On Friday from 6pm till 9:30pm the total amount raised was an incredible $5600. Now a lot of hard work and effort went into this night but there was plenty of fun and laughs.
Congratulations to the winners of the tournament.

S.C. Swiderski

We're happy to share that S.C. Swiderski’s New London project, SCS Wolf River, has been featured in the June 2025 issue of Insight on Business!
The SCS Wolf River development is a 98-unit, four-story apartment building rising in downtown New London, set to deliver much-needed housing and energize the city center. With amenities like a fitness center, yoga studio, community room, and outdoor patio overlooking the Wolf River, this project is more than just new housing, it is a step in strengthening the heart of New London’s downtown district.
As highlighted in the article, this initiative is the result of strong collaboration between S.C. Swiderski, the City of New London, and the New London Area Chamber of Commerce. It not only addresses housing needs but also serves as a catalyst for continued business growth and community engagement.
Thank you and congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life!
