New London Area Chamber of Commerce

Join us for our Annual Meeting Banquet – Dessert Auction on Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
Business Meeting begins at 5:00pm.
Followed by cocktails at 5:30, with dinner served at 6:30pm.
Dessert Auction 7:30pm
The popular dessert auction is held immediately following dinner, with a local auctioneer leading the fun. Multiple local businesses donate outstanding desserts and then attendees bid for a chance to win and enjoy one.
During the program the outgoing and incoming board members are recognized as well as businesses that joined the Chamber in the last fiscal year. In addition, the focus for the new fiscal year is shared with time spent sharing the past year’s accomplishments. At the conclusion of the informational program, entertainment is provided that ranges from musical to comedy to interactive and everything in between.
Throughout the evening, attendees have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 Raffle, a craft beer & wine draw, and silent auctions boasting fabulous prizes. All funds raised during the evening will be put back into the community through member advertisement, educational workshops and student scholarships.
The goal of this evening is for Chamber members to be recognized, to network with one another, and be entertained all while doing a small amount of fundraising.

The New London Area Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to experience the magic of the season.

Download the 2023 Light Up New London Map to tour the Christmas lights throughout the area. All homes and businesses have been encouraged to get their decorations up by December 1st, 2023 for families to enjoy through the entire holiday season. Registration for Light Up New London will close December 1st, 2023. Find maps on our Facebook page.
Check out our Holiday Hop! Customers are encouraged to join in on a holiday scavenger hunt December 1st - 8th and visit local businesses and organizations who will host deals and activities.
Get lost in the Winter Wonderland Christmas Displays by Longevity Nutrition on December 1st, 2023 featuring a twisting trail of holiday bliss, twinkling lights and Christmas trees. Listen to the Christmas carolers while sipping hot cocoa.
The parade starts at 5 p.m. Line up will be in the Longevity Nutrition parking lot. The parade will start there on Pearl St. and turn left onto N. Water St. and then exit on Wisconsin St.
Visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause at Longevity Nutrition and grab a Santa Bag filled with goodies. Don’t forget to bring a letter for Santa if you wish and leave it in his Christmas mailbox. His elves have assured us that Santa will reply to every letter. Please ensure a return address is included.
After the parade if you don’t want to wait in line for Santa, walk across the lit Pearl St. bridge to join in the Reindeer Boogie at Familiar Grounds hosted by the Parks & Recreation Department.

Thanksgiving is next month!! We here at the pantry are making plans to provide a Thanksgiving meal for our clients. We would appreciate donations of Stove Top dressing, instant mashed potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberries. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Shine Bright Against Cancer Color Run/walk in September that Longevity Nutrition hosted. This year we were DEFINITELY were shining and beaming with color!!!

We were spreading awareness by spreading color for those currently in the fight, for those who have lost that fight and for those who will face that fight in the future!

Because of all who were SHINING BRIGHT by participating as AMAZING SPONSORS or ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS, we are taking this awful disease and doing some good by raising money to pay it forward to a scholarship program for students who maybe the person who finds the cure to cancer. This year the Longevity Family and New London Community were able to present a check for $5,035.00 to Laura Turner’s family to feed the scholarship program. Four years ago we lost a beloved friend, teacher, coach and family member to cancer, Ms.Laura Turner!

This event allows us to show others HOW to come together as a community. We do want to keep prayers for the family and friends a participant in the walk this year that passed away 2 weeks after the event. Jamie’s friend Bobbie Jo said it was one of the last fun memories she will remember of Jaime. You guys, this is WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO! We get to showed others HOW to lift each other up... even during these most challenging years for one of the most challenging diseases .... WE SHOWED EVERYONE HOW TO SHINE BRIGHT AGAINST CANCER!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your support! We look forward to seeing you next year, the second Sunday in September, and with even more family and friends and to get even more colorful!

Okay Folks!! Here is the 2024 May Festival entertainment line up!!

Friday May 10th:

We will start our weekend off with a small hometown band from Black Creek called Rock "N" Country from 3pm-5:30pm!

Than grab your Boo Bo and Dancing shoes cause Boogie n Yo Yoz will be ending our Friday Night playing from 6pm-10pm!

Saturday May 11th:

Rise and Shine early cause Grand Union wants to be your wake up call from 10am-1:30pm!

Sixx Guns Loaded wants to be your ammo to get you thru your afternoon slump and will be playing 2pm-5:30pm!

And of course our always closing, greatest crew to work with band, will be finishing your Saturday Night with a little Spice in your life! Spicy Tie Band will be playing 6pm-10pm!

Sunday May 12th:

We will end your weekend but not with quiet pipes as Nashville Pipeline will be our ending band for the May Festival 2024 playing from 12pm-4pm!

155 meals were served to the New London Community this Wednesday. Thank you to the volunteers that packed the meals and distributed the meals. Thank you to all the Trinity members that donated items for the brown bags. A big ‘thank you’ to Martin and Diane Penney whom graciously donated fresh apples from their orchard. One last thank you to Lamer’s Dairy that gives us a discount on milk and to Gilbert’s Sentry Foods that gives us a discount on buns. Our next community meal is Wednesday, October 25h from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.
