WOW talk about a packed house! Last weeks comedy event was amazing. The comics were hilarious and I am so proud of our staff for our organization and hard work. Each show will get better and better. Thank you to all of our patrons for coming and having fun. Of the 125 available seats I don’t think there were more than a couple open. Next show at the end of March! Spring Mini Photography Session

Gregory T Photography, Weyauwega. Your 20-minute session will be set in a scenic area near the interpretive building with easy access from the parking lot. The fee includes five high-resolution edited images. A portion of the proceeds supports MHNC. Cost: $70. Registration and payment are due by May 11.

March 12, 2024-New London- The New London Public Museum opens its new exhibit Art for Everyone; American Art Pottery 1890-1940. Discover more about three top American potteries: Rookwood, Fulper, and Van Briggle. This temporary exhibit is open March 11-May 31. Museum hours are 10-5 Mon.-Fri and 10-1 on Saturdays. Admission to the museum is free.

Janelle Donaldson has been promoted to Vice President-Deposit Operations Manager. In her role, she manages the deposit operations and electronic banking teams. Donaldson directs retail operations, including procedures management, new account and maintenance reviews, document archiving, and deposit origination processes. She also oversees the electronic banking functions, such as new digital product implementation, treasury management, ACH Origination, debit cards and disputes. Donaldson’s advancement is a direct result of her steadfast commitment to process improvement and her adept guidance of strategic initiatives, particularly evident during the bank's recent technology upgrade. Her contributions over the past few years, drawing upon her extensive 30 years of banking experience, have played a pivotal role in the growth of the bank. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from Bemidji State University in Minnesota and has lived in the Fox Valley area for over 30 years. She also has an AAP designation as an accredited ACH Professional in the payments industry
Leah Seavecki joined Wolf River Community Bank as a BSA Specialist, where she will enhance monitoring systems to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations. She also will be conducting reviews of customer transactions and accounts; utilizing monitoring tools and technology to identify unusual patterns or trends; investigating, analyzing, detecting, and reporting suspicious activity, as well as filing mandatory financial institution reporting to the U.S. Department of Treasury. Seavecki has eight years of experience in the financial industry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She is excited that this position allows her to remain active in her New London community, where she serves as a New London Chamber Ambassador and is an active volunteer for other events and organizations.
