Join us Thursday, January 19th from 4:30-6:30pm for our Spread the Warmth event. Whether you are new to MOHH or have been with us since the beginning, we want to invite you to join us for an evening of community! Come and learn more about the work being done at our shelter and The Bridge thrift store, while enjoying some hot cocoa and snacks. Take a tour, learn about volunteer opportunities, and find out about the many ways you can be involved at MOHH. Spread the warmth of caring and community during these cold winter months!
Join us Saturday, January 28th from 12:00pm -3:00pm for some family-friendly activities at our annual fun day in the snow. Participate in the exciting Family Olympics challenge for fun and prizes. Play a round of human foosball. Young children will enjoy sliding down the otter slide and making a winter craft; everyone will like the leisurely snowshoe walk. Warm yourself by the campfire and roast some marshmallows. Hot food and beverages will be for sale.

Ever wanted to bike the trails at Mosquito Hill? Well here is your chance. Join us January 28th at
2:00pm - This one-hour race course will loop through the various terrains and habitats of Mosquito Hill Nature Center. The race will be open to fat tire bikes only (tires must be 3.7+ inches wide). Race classes will consist of Men’s, Women’s, Juniors (under 16) and Seniors (60+). Registration fee of $50 covers entry into the race, a race t-shirt, after-party entry for racer and one guest with one brat and one beverage ticket (additional food/beverage will be available for purchase). All proceeds benefit Mosquito Hill Nature Center. Outagamie County Parks Department prohibits the use of bikes on its trails, including at Mosquito Hill Nature Center. This is a one-time event and exception to this ordinance. $50 Registration Fee.
Grant Readiness Workshop - Tuesday, February 8, 2023 | 1-2:30pm and Wednesday, February 9, 2023 | 1-2:30pm.
Virtual Zoom - The two-part Grants Readiness Series provides a foundation of grant project and proposal preparedness knowledge for community and business development organizations who serve Wisconsin’s rural communities. Attendees will come away from the training with actionable steps toward preparing a grant project and proposal specific to advancing rural Wisconsin community or economic development services.
