City of New London

Reminder! The block of State St to Saint Johns Pl will be closed starting August 7th. We will update you as construction progresses on estimated length of closure!

Reminder that while construction keeps on keepin' on, you can utilize the following parking lots to access the downtown and support our local businesses!

- Grand Cinema Theatres

- 208 Wolf River Plaza.

- Public parking available on the NORTH side stalls only

(south side stalls are saved for Theatre patrons)

- Living Waters Assembly of God Church

- 401 W North Water St

- Open to public parking EXCEPT for during church activities at the following times:

- Wednesdays from 5:30pm-8:00pm

- Sundays 9:00am – Noon

- No overnight parking at either location, violators will be ticketed and towed.

In addition to these options, there are city public parking lots open as well including Lincoln Court!

As we continue our Downtown Revitalization Project, we wanted to thank our community members for your understanding! We know construction isn't always pretty, easy to navigate, or opportune.

Downtown businesses are still open with all that construction going on, so make sure you're supporting our local businesses during this time! Even if it's just grabbing a cup of coffee, shopping with a friend, or meeting a friend for taco Tuesday, your support means a lot to our small businesses.

Our local New London Rotary Club was busy packing backpacks for the local community! These backpacks are filled with notebooks, binders, pens, pencils, and other essentials needed to be productive for this school year!

The backpacks are available to pick up at Open House and main office of each school.
