Familiar Grounds

Jay Rin and Jenna Kopitske are traveling from Nashville, TN on a mini WI tour and will be stopping in to perform at Familiar Grounds on Saturday, April 27th from 11-1pm.
Jay Rin is an indie Americana/rock artist based in Nashville, TN originally from Southern California. She is a fierce, soulful, and playful rock n roll revivalist whose raw vocal power and vibrant spirit and charisma can be compared to the likes of Janis Joplin, Melissa Etheridge, Chrissie Hynde, and Stevie Nicks. Her debut album "Fool on the Fringe" has gained traction since its release in September 2023 across the US and beyond on local stations and the internationally syndicated classic rock station KLOS 95.5 where her segment was rated by Heidi and Frank as their best of 2023 on the 'Stay or Go' show. You can also find Jay Rin in one of the world's only all female Beatles tributes - Penny Lane who will return to the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England for Beatleweek 2024!
Also joining the duo is Jenna Kopitske, a talented drummer, pianist, and composer, known for her appearances at venues across Wisconsin and beyond. Jenna's diverse musical background, from touring with Hawaiian country artist Waylon Nihipali to performing at the Grand Ole Opry, brings a dynamic energy to the stage. With endorsements from Paiste Cymbals and Vater Drumsticks, Jenna's rhythmic prowess will surely captivate audiences. Don't miss this unforgettable afternoon of indie rock and soulful Americana music with the Jay Rin Duo!
