Spooks on Spurr

Opening night at Spooks on Spurr is on September 29th with Katzenjammer.
Spooks on Spurr is a haunted attraction in New London, Wisconsin. The old "Spurr Mansion," as the local folks call it, is a beautiful house built in the 1800's. The stories you will hear about the "Spurr Mansion" and the surrounding wooded area, will give you goosebumps. Six years ago, the old "Spurr Mansion" became the Mansion of Misery and the adjacent woods became the Forest of Freaks.
For those of you who have been here before, the Mansion of Misery and Forest of Freaks have gone through a metamorphosis and you won't believe your eyes when you see it!

Join us for our most popular event of the season…with a facelift! With half of our interpretive building under construction, and unavailable, this year’s event will be held outdoors during daylight hours. You’ll see some of your most beloved activities alongside a few new ones on a new date and time. Walk through the maze of painted jack-o-lanterns, take a tractor-pulled hayride, make a fall-themed craft, visit the concessions area for a bite to eat, and much more. In addition, we’re combining Harvest Moon Fest with our annual Honey Sunday, giving attendees an opportunity to learn about honey bees and purchase honey. You can find event updates on our website (www.mosquitohill.com) and Facebook page (@MosquitoHillNatureCenter).

Events Everlasting & Wolf River Art League

We are excited to be carrying Rainbow Land Cherry Soda from Minocqua Brewing! The artwork on the soda was inspired by our local friend Season Polsin from the Wolf River Art League, who created a mural at the brewery!
We are even more excited to be sharing the product with the community on Thursday, October 5th! We will have samples available to try, sales on the product, and ice cream floats with the soda available for tasting!
A percentage of all sales made in the shop during the event will go toward the Wolf River Art League!
If you are not able to make the event the soda is currently available for purchase in our shop as individual cans or 4 packs.
