Happy September! We cannot believe summer is basically over. It was a hot one for sure. We had many trials because of the overwhelming heat. Can anyone say lettuce? Or should I say lack there of. We have plans to mitigate this next year. It was frustrating for sure.
As always self-serve is open 7-7 this month with Fridays having the "full store" open from noon- 6. Friday the 12th we will be closed getting ready for Fall Fest.
October self-serve hours will change. We will update you then.
We are restocking this morning & have fresh made peaches and cream scones with a peach glaze on the side out right now. These were baked this morning. Brian & I will say they are really yummy.

**Our next Hunter Safety class is September 13 & 14th. There is still availability. If the class doesn't show up on the DNR site, you can still attend. You will register on class day.
New London Fish & Game Club is excited to announce we will be hosting 2 Hunter Safety classes this year.
Classes are two days, 5hrs each day. You can choose between August 16 & 17 or September 13 & 14 from 9am-2pm. The fee is $10 per person.
In Wisconsin, the minimum age to legally hunt is 12 years old. Anyone can take the hunter safety course, but the certificate is not valid until the student turns 12.
These classes meet the Wisconsin State requirements to obtain a hunting license.

We have been growing our youth programs if you're not aware there is now a New London High School and Middle School bowling team with last season having 60 bowlers in that program our numbers are strong and growing. The Saturday Morning Youth program has grown from like 10 kids to over 50 in a few short seasons. Well I guess we have been turning heads at the state level because recently we received a phone call asking due to all of the hard work and effort we have put in, the state would like to reward you and asked would you want to host the big Pepsi Youth Scholarship Regional Tournament! Of course we said yes and the contract has been signed! Just another awesome thing happening here at Wolf River Lanes I'm telling you folks pay attention to what is happening here. All good things come and be part of it!
