EJ Metals/Skeeter North is an OEM company that manufactures specialized emergency vehicles, dump chutes, and ultra-high pressure fire pumps for the fire service. EJ Metals has been an established manufacturing company in the Fox Valley area for over 25 years. Skeeter Emergency Vehicles in based out of Hillsboro, Texas and purchased EJ Metals back in 2022. With this acquisition, Skeeter added more options to an ever-evolving fire industry while increasing its manufacturing capacity. Skeeter’s extensive network of dealerships now allows EJ Metals to continue to grow locally as our northern manufacturer for our products. This growth will help the surrounding area by providing additional jobs in various disciplines such as fabrication, assembly, engineering, administration, and supply chain.

EJ Metals’ core products include patented dump chutes used on various other OEM’s fire apparatus, our ultra-high pressure pump units coupled with a patented “Tri-Plex” nozzle, and specialized skid units built to fit multiple pick-up truck models. In addition to many different type-5 and type-6 wildland fire apparatuses, EJ Metals manufactures custom bodies for UTVs and performs full emergency vehicle up-fits in costumer-supplied trucks.

EJ Metals has many patented products that rank in the highest regard in our industry.
