This vibrant celebration marks the official start to summer, offering something for everyone in the heart of our charming downtown.

Event Highlights:

Night Market: Stroll through a bustling market with local artisans, crafters, and unique vendors showcasing their best goods. It’s the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind treasures!
Bistro Lights & Ambiance: Experience the charm of downtown as bistro lights illuminate the streets, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
Food Trucks: Satisfy your taste buds with an eclectic mix of delicious bites and street food.
Live Music: Dance to the rhythm and soul of the People Brothers Band as they perform live from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. right on North Water St.
Beer Garden: Relax in a dedicated beer garden designed for those 21 and over—grab a drink, unwind, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Kids Zone: There’s plenty of fun for the little ones too! Our Kids Zone will feature activities and entertainment for all ages.

Vendor Applications Now Open!
Calling all local artists, makers, and food vendors! Vendor applications for the Summer Kickoff Bash are now open. This event will feature a curated selection of craft, art, sponsor, and food vendors only—if you’re interested in showcasing your goods, don’t miss out on this opportunity to be part of a vibrant and growing community event. Please note that direct sales, multi-level marketing, and service providers will not be considered.

Sponsorships Available!
Sponsorships are also now open for those looking to get involved and support this exciting new event. Proceeds from the Summer Kickoff Bash will help fund an important new venture between the City of New London, the Chamber of Commerce, and the New London School District. These three entities are joining forces to hire a grant writer, a key initiative designed to strengthen our community and bring more resources and opportunities to New London. Your sponsorship will directly support this effort.

Why This Event?
With the growth of our Fall Fest and the Wheels on Werner Car Show, we needed to create a new event that would bring even more excitement to downtown while preserving the success of our well-loved traditions. We’ve designed this event to drive foot traffic into our downtown area, benefiting local businesses and the community as a whole.
