A reminder on behalf of New London Utilities that hydrant flushing is happening on September 29 and 30. Please refer to the map and informational sheet below for all details.

From a community effort emerged a community slogan. As of September 16, 2025 the City of New London has adopted “Where the Wolf Flows, Community Grows” as it’s official slogan.
The slogan was voted most popular during a community wide vote and adopted during September’s City Council meeting. The City would like to thank community members of all ages who submitted slogan ideas and voted on their favorite, as well as the Economic Development Committee and City Council for serving in their official capacities.
The slogan will be applied immediately to marketing materials and slowly integrated into existing infrastructure.

May Festival is starting to raise money for the 2026 year. Our first money raising goes with September being suicide awareness month. Assistant Technician
We are a Family-Owned service company in the carpet cleaning industry.
We are looking to fill a full-time position to clean carpet, tile/stone and upholstery five days a week (Monday-Friday). Preferably available at least one weekend a month for commercial work.
We're looking to start training this position asap!
Customer service/interaction experience needed. Big smiles and a people pleaser are great!
Able to lift 40-70 pounds on occasion.
Will train in all aspects of carpet, upholstery and hard surface cleaning.
Current Driver’s License, Excellent driving record and dependable vehicle to get to work is a must.
Must pass criminal background check.
Based out of Weyauwega, WI and service Waupaca, Winnebago and Outagamie counties.
8AM starting time, usually done by 4/5pm. Occasional late days and a few night cleaning jobs. Being a seasonal service, hours will range from 25 to 50 a week.
Salary increases as your responsibility grows.
Uniforms supplied by us at our expense including needed company shirts, company coats, safety gear if needed.
