Today, the Family Crisis Center serves Portage, Waupaca, and Waushara Counties through a 24/7 crisis hotline, emergency shelter, advocacy, outreach, and other essential services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as youth in crisis.

Behind every call answered and every door opened is someone finding safety, support, and a path forward.

We’re Hiring at Store New London Walmart!

Join our team as a Overnight Stocking Team Associate & be part of something great. 

4 car auto transport driver opening.

This job will be driving a 4 car straight truck, transporting damaged vehicles for salvage yards, car lots and insurance companies. The truck is about 40′ in length plus vehicle in the wheel lift. Vehicles are loaded using hydraulics to move, tip the beds and operate the wheel lift. Vehicles are pulled onto the bed by a winch system using a remote or directly from the truck. No equipment older than a 2020. ELD Logs, driver is dispatched for your run the night before, so you have time to plan your route. We haul mainly in the western part of Wisconsin but we do pick up in the entire state of Wisconsin. We occasionally go to Elgin IL and Chicago Heights IL, the edges of Minnesota and upper Michigan. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading cars, securing the vehicles, tow lights, any other loose parts and cargo. If you are not familiar with a 4 car we do offer paid training. You need a valid class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, have a clean driving record Ex. no speeding following too closely, No DUI within the last 5 years. Earnings 73,000-83,000 per year. We work mainly Monday through Friday. Home nightly. We offer paid training, paid vacation, paid holidays, and health insurance. Our CSRs are such an important part of what we do. They’re often the first person our clients talk to, the friendly face that greets them when they walk through the door, and the ones helping keep things moving behind the scenes on even the busiest days.

We’re so excited for this first sculpture to be installed along the river in New London, WI.

Thank you to the Wolf River Art League volunteers, the City of New London and the New London Parks and Recreation, Wisconsin for their help in bringing this trail to life. It takes all of us. Many hours planning and preparing are what brings good things like this to fruition!

Last week we handed out 226 grab and go meals. We served up Hotdogs on a bun with snacks, fresh fruit, water, and milk. THANK YOU to everyone that donated items for the meals, helped pack the meals, who worked the meal, and to everyone that delivered meals to those in need in the area. Our next community meal is Wednesday September 30th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
