Get ready for a full weekend of community fun in New London! Wheels on Werner Allen kicks things off Friday, September 11, with classic cars, motorcycles, food and special 9/11 remembrance activities. Then, Fall Fest takes over Saturday, September 12, with shopping, food, family fun, vendors and entertainment. There’s something for everyone, so mark your calendar and make plans to join us!

Keep the weekend going on Sunday, September 13, with the Shine Bright Against Cancer Color Run/Walk at Hatten Park! This family-friendly event welcomes all ages and fitness levels for a colorful day of fun, community and support for a meaningful cause. Run, walk or simply come cheer everyone on—and don’t forget to show off your brightest, most colorful outfit! A virtual participation option is also available.

Today’s the day — we’re kicking off the week‑long Grand Opening of the deck! Come out for cold buckets, $2 off burgers, or $1 wings and help us celebrate all week long.

This incredible addition to our community is being built by Colton Swanson for his Eagle Scout project. Colton has been working tirelessly and diligently to raise funds, organize volunteers, and construct this range from the ground up. Let’s show him some major appreciation for his hard work!

The range will officially launch at our upcoming Grand Opening celebration. We invite the entire public to join us, celebrate Colton’s achievement, and check out the new targets!

Paint Pals — Monthly Littles Canvas Workshop

Ages: Kindergarten–4th Grade
Cost: $10 per participant
Location: Ellis Visual Arts Studio, 305 S Pearl St., New London

Join us for a fun, hands-on painting workshop designed for young artists. This month’s project is Frenchie the Pup.

Choose from:

• Pre-Traced Raised Canvas: Great for younger or first-time painters.
• Trace-It-Yourself Canvas: Perfect for kids ready to practice beginner tracing and drawing skills.

All supplies are included. Please dress for a little mess!

Pre-registration is required. Limited walk-ins may be accepted if space and supplies allow. Early registration is encouraged.

Soft Study | POPPY — A Needle-Felted Botanical Workshop

Participants will create a softly layered, two-dimensional needle-felted artwork inspired by Poppy blooms, using dyed wool fibers to “paint” with texture, depth, and color. This workshop focuses on gentle composition, tonal blending, and slow, intentional mark-making — resulting in a finished piece that feels both modern and organic.

We’ll begin with an introduction to needle felting tools, wool types, and foundational techniques, followed by a guided demonstration on building form, blending color, and creating botanical shapes through layered fiber. From there, students will work at their own pace with individual support and guidance throughout the session.

Each participant will leave with a completed felt artwork — a soft, textural interpretation of lilac that can be framed or displayed as a seasonal art piece.

Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Teen Only Night- DND Club

Adventure with us for DND Club every second Monday of the month! Come solve clues, meet magical beings, and let your creativity shine!

The wait is almost over for one of our favorite events of the year, Fall Flannel Fest!

This year is particularly special as we celebrate our 10th anniversary. We have an exciting day planned, with homemade chili, delicious desserts, beverages, and multiple chances to win prizes! David Varnam is Tom Tiffany’s running mate in the race to return Wisconsin to conservative policies in the Governor’s office. Senator Rachael Cabral-Guevera will moderate. David ran and won as the underdog in the August Primary, featuring endorsements from the main pro-life organizations in Wisconsin: Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Action PAC. He will discuss his efforts to help flip Wisconsin back to a “red” conservative state in November and help the Tiffany-Varnam ticket lead the way to reducing the size of state government and fighting for traditional values! Stop by our Car Seat Checking Station and meet with a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) who can help:

• Adjust your child’s harness for a safe fit
• Answer your car seat safety questions
• Help determine the right seat for your child’s age and size
