Founded in 2013 by Lorna Puntillo, ACTSAFE, LLC was established in Sioux City, Iowa as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Since its inception, ACTSAFE has grown into a trusted provider of environmental, engineering, and construction services, supporting both federal and private sector clients nationwide.

ACTSAFE has successfully completed projects in over 22 states, demonstrating its ability to deliver high-quality, compliant, and responsive solutions across diverse geographic regions and project requirements. The company brings extensive experience working with federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, Department of the Interior, and U.S. Department of Agriculture. In addition, ACTSAFE has supported major private sector clients such as Anheuser-Busch and Nestlé Purina, further showcasing its versatility and industry expertise.

As part of its continued growth strategy, ACTSAFE expanded its footprint in 2025 with the opening of a new office in Arkansas. In 2026, the company is further strengthening its regional presence with the launch of a new office in New London, Wisconsin, supporting increased service capacity and responsiveness across the Midwest.
