Winter Wonderland on the Wolf

Mark your calendars for this very merry Winter Wonderland on the Wolf event scheduled for Friday, December 5th, 2025, right in the heart of downtown New London. We transform the city into a magical Winter Wonderland.
The New London Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to experience the magic of the season at Winter Wonderland on the Wolf. There are so many ways the community and businesses can get involved:
- Light Up New London Map – Decorate your home or business with Christmas lights and register by December 4th to be included on the Light Up New London Map. Families can download the map to tour beautiful Christmas displays throughout the area all season long. Maps will be available on our Facebook page, at the Tourism Center, or online.
- Selfie with Elfie – Back by popular demand! Take a selfie with one of the Chamber Elves placed at participating businesses between December 6th – 15th. Follow the instructions posted near each Elf for a chance to WIN $100 in Chamber Bucks. Winners will be announced on December 16th.
- Winter Wonderland Christmas Displays – Get lost in the holiday displays by Longevity Nutrition on December 5th, featuring a twisting trail of twinkling lights and Christmas trees. Enjoy hot cocoa and listen to Christmas carolers as you walk through this winter paradise.
- Winter Wonderland Parade – The parade kicks off at 5:45 p.m. from State St., continuing down N. Water St. towards Pearl St. with participants exiting on Wolf River Ave. Join us beforehand for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the night. Best Parade Entry wins $50 in Chamber Bucks selected by Mayor Mark – get creative and show your holiday spirit!
- Visit with Santa – Meet Santa at Longevity Nutrition and receive a Santa Bag filled with goodies. Bring your letters for Santa and place them in his Christmas mailbox – his elves promise Santa will reply if you include a return address.
- Reindeer Boogie – After the parade, join the Parks & Recreation Department for the Reindeer Boogie across the lit Pearl St. bridge from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
- Wagon Rides – Enjoy a sponsored wagon ride between Longevity Nutrition and downtown from 5 – 7:30 p.m.
- Volunteer Opportunities – We are always looking for volunteers to make this the most magical night for families. Find volunteer opportunities on our website.
