The New London Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Golf Outing is officially in the books, and what an incredible day it was!
Held on Thursday, June 18 at Shamrock Heights Golf Course, this year’s sold-out tournament welcomed 40 teams for a full day of networking, friendly competition, great food, and unforgettable fun. From the moment golfers arrived for registration until the final prizes were awarded, the energy and enthusiasm were evident across the entire course.
Mother Nature delivered perfect golfing weather, creating the ideal backdrop for this year’s “Around the World in 18 Holes” theme. Every hole featured sponsors who embraced their assigned country with creative decorations, activities, games, and giveaways, transforming the course into a global adventure. Participants traveled from country to country throughout their round, experiencing unique sponsor-hosted interactions that made every hole memorable.
One of the highlights of the day was the golfer passport challenge. Every participant received a passport at registration and collected stamps from sponsors throughout the course. Golfers who completed their passports were entered into a drawing for a cooler packed with goodies, adding an extra layer of excitement and encouraging interaction with the many businesses that helped make the event possible.

Congratulations to MK Flooring for taking home First Place honors! While there were certainly plenty of competitive moments throughout the day, the true victory was the opportunity for Chamber members and community partners to connect, build relationships, and enjoy a fantastic day together.
From lunch and networking to the final raffle drawings and awards presentation, the atmosphere at Shamrock Heights was outstanding. Smiles were everywhere, conversations flowed easily, and the sense of community that makes the New London area so special was on full display.
The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to Shamrock Heights Golf Course for hosting another successful outing and helping create an exceptional experience for our golfers, sponsors, and guests.
As we reflect on another fantastic tournament, we’re already looking ahead to an exciting milestone. Next year marks the 30th Anniversary of the New London Area Chamber Golf Outing, and we can’t wait to PAR-TEE with everyone on Thursday, June 17, 2027, at Shamrock Heights Golf Course.
