Half mile long paved trail along the Wolf River, just west of New London on Highway X. It’s a great place for fishing or leisurely walks. The Mukwa Wildlife Area is on the opposite side of the road. Also, view Sturgeon up to 6 feet long, spawning for only a couple of days in early spring after the water temperatures have reached approximately 53°-59°F.
Contact the New London Tourism office to request an automated phone call each year: (920) 982-5822. Sign up for yearly sturgeon spawning email notifications in the New London area here! The City of New London is EXCITED to announce a new partnership which continues economic development in New London. Today, First State Bank held a press conference showing plans to build a new corporate headquarters in downtown New London along with an announcement to donate their existing facility to the City as the new home for the New London Public Library! This donation will not only allow the Public Library to include the programming plans the Library had for the new Annex into one building, but also allow the New London Public Museum to grow into the existing facility at 406 S. Pearl Street. Thank you First State Bank for your continued commitment to see New London grow and prosper! Below are some words from Mayor Mark Herter on the donation.
