New London Area Chamber of Commerce

Last week Thursday was nothing short of amazing at the Chamber Awards Banquet with a Carnival theme. The amount of support, camaraderie and enthusiasm we felt from the community was incredible. Events Everlasting and Yo Dj Entertainment worked on set up for multiple days.

Emanuel Ev. Lutheran Church

Tickets are now on sale for Emanuel Lutheran School's musical "The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition." Performances are Friday, May 9 (6:30 pm), Saturday, May 10 (6:30 pm), and Sunday, May 11 (2:00 pm).

General seating tickets are $5.00 each and can be purchased in the Emanuel office. We hope you join us to support the hard-working cast and crew and enjoy this heart-warming, classic show. We're off to see the Wizard!

Have you HEARD?

Emanuel's pipe organ is complete! During the next two weeks, the skilled technicians at Parsons Pipe Organ Builders will be testing our instrument before disassembling it piece by piece and packing it for shipment. Parsons will also be hosting an Open House at their workshop in upstate New York!

The organ is scheduled to arrive at our location on Sunday, April 27. On Monday, April 28, we'll be looking for volunteers to help unload the many pieces and pipes and move the instrument into the building. Parson's team will spend the next two weeks assembling the instrument, and three to four weeks after that tuning and voicing the nearly 3,000 pipes.

Dedication weekend is scheduled for June 7-8, 2025. Stay TUNED!
