Downtown Retail Business District
Property owners and businesses in New London, WI, are eligible for up to $4,000.00 in matching grant funds for exterior facade improvements made to their buildings.
As a matching grant program, the City will reimburse the property owner for up to 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $4,000 ($4,000 grant funds matched by $4,000 private funds). The City reserves the right to exceed the maximum grant amount or number of grants awarded in a given year on a case‑by‑case basis.
Initial grant applications are due by 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026. Initial grant awards will be
announced by the end of April of the program year. After the initial award round, any remaining funds will be made available to additional applicants on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
