Downtown New London came alive with holiday spirit on December 5, 2025, as nearly 2,000 visitors gathered for Winter Wonderland on the Wolf. With lights glowing, music playing, and families filling the streets, it was a night that truly captured the magic of the season.
Hosted by Familiar Grounds Coffee Shop, this annual event continues to showcase what makes New London special, strong community support and a shared commitment to creating memorable experiences. Local businesses, volunteers, and organizations worked together to transform the downtown into a festive destination filled with activity and cheer.
The evening featured a full lineup of holiday favorites. Families explored beautifully decorated displays at Longevity Nutrition, enjoyed the annual parade, and stopped by to visit Santa. Thanks to partnerships with Ort & Sons Trucking and Northland Electrical Services, children were able to take home Santa bags and send letters straight to the North Pole.
Throughout the night, attendees also enjoyed wagon rides, the Light Up New London map, the always-popular Selfie with Elfie contest, and the Reindeer Boogie hosted by New London Parks & Recreation. From start to finish, the energy and excitement were felt across the entire community.
