Some events go as planned. Others somehow turn out even better. The 28th Annual Chamber Golf Outing fell into that second category.
On June 19, 2025, Shamrock Heights Golf & Supper Club played host to a full day of sunshine, friendly competition, and just the right amount of fiesta flair. Hosted by First State Bank, this year’s outing brought together local businesses, teams, and community members for an event that delivered on all fronts—from creative cart decorations to taco-filled tee boxes and plenty of laughs along the way.
The energy on the course was matched by some impressive play. Congratulations to our top teams:

Of course, events like this don’t come together on their own. (If they did, we’d all be in a very different line of work.) A sincere thank you goes out to our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made the day possible. Your continued support allows the Chamber to provide valuable programs, resources, and scholarships that benefit both our members and the greater New London community.
It was a great day, a great turnout, and a reminder of what happens when local businesses come together—something worth celebrating, even if your golf game didn’t quite cooperate.
