Scholarship Program for Members
Our Chamber values professional development opportunities and educational programs, which assist members in strengthening their operations. Therefore, the New London Area Chamber of Commerce (NLACOC) has created the Continuing Education and Training Scholarship Program to assist and encourage existing member businesses to advance and / or maintain the knowledge and professionalism of their employees that is necessary for continued business growth and viability.
The program is funded by proceeds from the Chamber events as determined by the NLACOC Board of Directors. The Board reserves the right to make changes to the program at any time.
Applications for the Continuing Education and Training Scholarships are available at the office of the NLACOC and on our website www.newlondonchamber.com. Applications will be accepted anytime prior to the application deadlines and must be filled out in their entirety with appropriate supporting documentation. Continuing Education and Training Scholarships are awarded 4 times per year. The deadlines for submitting applications are:
Deadline December 15th (classes between Dec. 16 – Apr.15)
Deadline April 15th (classes between Apr. 16 – July 15)
Deadline July 15th (classes between July 16 – Oct. 15)
Deadline October 15th (classes between Oct. 16 – Dec. 15)
